Historic Brixey Missouri Country Store | Original Photography Jigsaw Puzzle

📷 ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHY BY MITCHELL TRUMBLE

Bring a little piece of Missouri Ozarks history home with Naugle's Store & Post Office, an original photograph taken by Mitchell Trumble in Brixey, Missouri, in April 2024.

Located in rural Ozark County, this weathered wooden building once served the small community of Brixey as both a country store and post office. The Brixey post office dates back to 1917, and the Naugle family operated the store for decades.

I remember visiting this little store as a child in the 1970s. Of course, what I remember most are the candy and cold glass bottles of soda, which I believe were kept in an old chest-style cooler. I also seem to remember the old wooden plank floors.

Decades later, I returned with my camera and photographed the building. Its weathered siding, old windows, metal roof, and quiet front porch still remind me of those little country stores that were once such an important part of rural Missouri life.

Available in multiple piece counts, this puzzle works well for casual puzzlers, experienced puzzle lovers, Missouri history enthusiasts, Ozarks travelers, and anyone who appreciates old country stores and historic rural buildings.
